We are pleased to announce that Julie Fosh has been appointed as the 845th High Sheriff of Essex. This marks her second term in this esteemed role, following her initial appointment which was significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Julie was officially sworn in during a traditional ceremony at the Essex County Council chambers on 7th April. She describes her appointment as a “huge privilege” and is eager to serve her community once again. Drawing on her previous experience, Julie is committed to embracing new opportunities to encourage and support the people of Essex through various initiatives.

Her dedication to public service and community engagement continues to inspire, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make in this important role.
