Relief Caretaker
Maldon Town Council is looking for a trustworthy and practical individual to provide reliable facility continuity, security, and cleaning services for the Town Hall during core relief hours (Saturdays and Sundays), and to act as the primary operational cover during periods of absence for the Full-Time Caretaker.
Responsibilities include opening the Hall for hirers and secure the building after use, cleaning the facilities after hire, assisting hirers by ensuring tables and chairs etc. are set out, undertaking minor maintenance duties, and acting as emergency key holder.
Salary: NJC SCP 3-4; £13.28ph – £13.48ph (£25,614 – £26,016 FTE)
Part Time: 5 hours per week plus overtime as required.
